The Plight of Refugees in the Modern Era.
Journalist William Shawcross. He wrote the introduction to a new book on the plight of the world's refugees. His most recent book The Shah's Last Ride and it documented the Shah's fall and flight from Iran as the Islamic revolution swept his country and much of the Middle East. Shawcross, a Briton, is also the author of the award-winning Sideshow: Kissinger, Nixon and the Destruction of Cambodia, which documented the extent of America's involvement in Cambodia at the same time it was engaged in Vietnam.
